Our Faculty's Training Program for World Bank Managers

Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education has successfully completed the training program called "World Bank the Art of Training Program", which is specially designed for the World Bank's procurement and tender management personnel. The program was designed to enable participants to create effective training programs for their teams and was carried out by the valuable faculty members of our University, especially Atatürk Faculty of Education. Design and coordination of the training program was conducted by Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan.

 

Training sessions covered topics such as education as both a science and an art, effective educational design and execution, stakeholder engagement, learning in life beyond school, technology-enabled educational design, and comprehensive assessment and evaluation. In the training program, Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan, Prof. Dr. Sinem Ergun, Prof. Dr. Feral Ogan Bekiroğlu, Assoc. Prof. Gökçe Kurt Tiftik and Assist. Prof. Mustafa Polat gave various lectures.

In this successful special training workshop, tender team managers working as managers in nearly 20 countries at the World Bank were provided with the up-to-date knowledge and skills required to design effective training programs. As Marmara University, we are pleased to contribute to the ongoing professional development of World Bank tender staff.
