Preschool Teaching 2022-2023 Spring Term Online Exhibition

Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Preschool Teaching 2nd Year students prepared the works they produced for their elective course on "Art and Aesthetics" as an online exhibition. The students take this course two hours a week from Lecturer Zeynep Öztürk. Students researched each of the European art and art movements that started with the Renaissance period, which they examined in the context of the course content, and used pastel on paper, gouache, watercolor, collage method, painting completion, installation, as well as textile elements such as fabric, rope, beads, sequins, etc. They worked as a "reproduction" of the work belonging to the period and artist they presented, using materials from nature and nature. Turkish art history was also discussed in the course, and the miniatures and calligraphy painted on the walls, which emerged during the Anatolian Seljuk period and the Central Asian civilizations, were also examined and interpreted.
