Our Faculty's Training Program for World Bank Managers

Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty has successfully completed the "World Bank Education Arts Program," a training program specifically designed for procurement and tender management staff of the World Bank. The program was aimed at enabling participants to design effective training programs for their teams, and it was conducted by the esteemed faculty members of our university, particularly from the Atatürk Education Faculty. The design and coordination of the training program were led by Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan.

The training sessions covered topics such as education as both science and art, effective training design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, learning beyond school life, technology-supported education design, and comprehensive assessment and evaluation. In the program, Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan, Prof. Dr. Sinem Ergun, Prof. Dr. Feral Ogan Bekiroğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Kurt Tiftik, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Polat delivered various lectures.

In this successful training workshop, nearly 20 managers from the World Bank's procurement and tender teams, working in various countries, were provided with the latest knowledge and skills needed to design effective training programs. We are pleased that Marmara University has contributed to the ongoing professional development of the World Bank's procurement staff.
