2022-2023 Atatürk Faculty of Education Graduation Ceremony was held

We Said Farewell to Our New Graduates on the 100th Anniversary of our Republic

On the 175th anniversary of Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, the 2022-2023 bachelor graduation ceremony was held on the evening of Saturday, September 2, 2023. At the exciting ceremony held at M.Ü. Mehmet Genç Complex Dragos Campus, our graduates, who successfully completed their undergraduate education, shared their justified pride and happiness of receiving their diplomas with their families, friends, loved ones, and professors who attended the ceremony.

The ceremony took place with the graduates of our 20 bachelor programs gathering in the ceremony area. With the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan, our Deputy Deans and faculty academicians walked together to greet our graduates and guests attending the ceremony. Our 2023 graduates took their places in the ceremony area with a march to greet their relatives who attended the ceremony. After the moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan congratulated our bachelors after his speech in which he talked about the 175th anniversary of the establishment of our school and the deep-rooted history of our faculty. He presented certificates of achievement to the winners of our faculty, Elvan Sevim and İkbal Dilara Adaş, graduates of the French Teaching program, the second place of our faculty, Gülsüm Mol, a graduate of the Geography Teaching program, and the third place of our faculty, Melike Usta, a graduate of the Biology Teaching program.

Our graduates and guests had pleasant moments with the music concert directed by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Uslu, M.Ü. Head of the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Department of Fine Arts Education of our Faculty. After the Psychological Counseling and Guidance professional oath and the teaching profession oath, the 2022-2023 graduation ceremony ended with the cap-throwing ceremony.
