On April 29, 2022; Andreas Kopp, Rasmus H. Ramussen, Laura Lundager Jensen, Kirsten Oedenburg Lauta, Karina Bruun Houg, Maren Lyjte, Jans Pietras, Auders H. Simonsan, Sanne Faber from Kopenhag University visited Marmara University. Within the framework of the program, The Dean of the Ataturk Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan hosted Danish History educator academics in his office. In the meeting, information was exchanged about the education in Turkey and Denmark and about ongoing studies.

In the second session of the program, History Education Department Lecturer Assoc.Prof. Akif Pamuk and his research team gave a presentation on the framework of history education in Turkey, the topics covered in History lessons, historical thinking skills, assessment and evaluation system and its tools. Also, the examples of how history teaching takes place in private and public schools were shared. Afterwards; the elements of history teaching in Denmark, the topics that are covered, and the examples of assessment and evaluation system were shared.

This productive visit ended with the discussion of plans on mutual studies between between Marmara and Kopenhag Universities in the future.
